This year’s annual Doodle 4 Google contest opened today, asking students in grades kindergarten through 12 to submit artwork based on the theme: “What I see for the future…” Artwork can include whatever medium the artist chooses and must incorporate Google’s letters to depict their vision of the future. Entries will be accepted through December 2, 2016. We like to think about what’s next. So we’re asking kids to imagine what awaits them in the years to come and represent that vision of this year’s theme.Official Google Blog The National Winner will have their winning artwork displayed on Google’s home page for a day, in addition to receiving a $30,000 college scholarship and a chance to work with the Google Doodle team. The winner’s school will also receive $50,000 to invest in technology. Last year’s winner was 10th grader Akilah Johnson from Washington, DC.
